Offers communal seating and the warm gentle glow of a pillar of light as her altar, which extends into a spire of light to sky

Offers more private indoor space for reflection, meditation, and communion; adorned with our community’s wish lanterns

Each year, the Burning Man Temple build is an enormous communal effort. Hundreds of people get involved as volunteers in pre-playa activities, and 100+ people spend up to 2.5 weeks in the Black Rock Desert before the Burning Man event starts.
The Temple brings together people with a myriad of skills as well as “unskilled" volunteers who want to learn on the job. We invite everyone to join our team!
